Ten concerts in fourteen days. One of them was a nine-hour marathon concert. One of them had eleven world premiers. Yup, I’m talking about photographing the Nief-Norf Summer Music Festival. This was an exercise in endurance and also a totally rewarding and inspiring experience. We (Kimberly shot the festival as well – but you’ll have to see her pictures elsewhere) first worked with Nief-Norf earlier in the year for Big Ears so when they asked us to document the nnSF 2017, we were all over it. Seriously, one of the scores called for the musician to stab cabbage. I love my job!.
