Way back when, in June of 2016, I had an opportunity to meet and photography Adam Ingle and Ben Seamons of Alliance Brewing Company. I spent an entire day with these two guys, documenting the brew day, sampling, and getting to know them both. Alliance, in my opinion, brews some of the best craft beer Knoxville has to offer. Adam all science, Ben all art and gut – that’s the thing I learned that day. Making great beer is part science, part art, and all hard work.
These photos are very special to me, this was the first time I met Ben… In between brewing and shooting – we both called it “workin'”, we talked about art (he was a painter), our passions, family, and following your dreams. Tragically, Ben passed away in an accident a few months after these photos were made – I’ll always remember that day as one of the good ones.
