I’ve worked with Amanda and Allen as Count This Penny several times. In fact, at the same time I shot these portraits, I was working with the band to photograph the cover of their new record. But this project was personal and had nothing to do with the band. They needed photos for a family project they were working on in which they needed some casual candids. Day-in-the-life type stuff. I love following people around and taking candid photographs. Documentary photography? Sure… We’ll call it that.
